Description of the area
Bixquert, which is the name given to the valley where the chalet is located, falls in love at first sight. It has, therefore, something special, without a doubt. Perhaps it is the intensity of light, different in each season, or the intense color of its vegetation, or being surrounded by mountains by the four cardinal points, or because it simply captivates the view towards the North, where the impregnable castle is located of Xàtiva (of Iberian and Carthaginian origin), settled on a hill on which the Romans built a watchtower, a fortification whose function was to monitor the strategic Roman road, or Via Augusta, which from Rome, crossing the Pyrenees, reached Cádiz.
The valley of a quite abrupt orography, and except some main roads, the others are narrow and with pronounced slopes, but they are mostly asphalted. The large amount of water in the valley and the temperature in summer, which is almost 3 degrees lower than the one registered in the city center, motivated that they began to build properties, everywhere, as second residences, during the 70s, 80s and 90s.
